In Merisho, Matasia (Ngong), we recently completed a 5kW 48V solar system installation with a touching story behind it. Our client installed this solar package for his parents, who had been facing frequent blackouts at their rural home. This thoughtful gesture now ensures they enjoy reliable power day and night.
What this 5kW Solar System Included
This powerful system featured 6 pieces of 550W monocrystalline solar panels. These panels provide high efficiency and durability. They were installed facing the sun’s path to optimize daily energy generation.
We also installed a 5kW 48V solar hybrid inverter. This inverter ensures seamless switching between solar, battery, and grid power when available. It supports both off-grid and hybrid functionality, offering full flexibility.
To store energy, we used a 5kWh 48V lithium-ion battery. It allows the home to stay powered even during the night or cloudy days. The battery is maintenance-free, compact, and safe for home use.
Smart Monitoring with Solarman Smart App
One standout feature of this 5kW 48V solar system installation is smart monitoring through the Solarman smart app. Our client can now check system performance anytime from his phone. He can monitor energy generation, battery level, and system health from anywhere.
This adds convenience and peace of mind, especially since the system is for his parents.
Even when he’s away, he knows they have power and can monitor everything remotely.
